All boats are jet washed and they are mechanically wire
wheeled before 3 coats of product are applied. We recommend Bitumen to be reapplied every 2-3 years.
Grit Blasting & 2Pack Epoxy Coatings
We offer grit blasting of the hull and 2pack epoxy coating using Hempel Hempadur. This process is harder wearing than Bitumen and we recommend that your boat is taken out of the water at least every 5 years to apply a maintenance coat and check anodes.
Additional preparation available (carried out with standard blacking)
Additional preparation is carried out on corroded water lines. The water line is descaled back to clean steel before being treated and then 3 coats of your chosen blacking type are then applied.
